Ohio Democratic Party Releases New Web Ad Highlighting Congressman Kasich's Love for New York
NEW YORK, NEW YORK – Today, the Ohio Democratic Party released a video entitled, "Special Town," highlighting Republican gubernatorial candidate Congressman John Kasich's recent travel schedule. At the same time that he and his campaign have insulted Appalachian and rural voters with remarks mocking Governor Strickland's humble upbringing and alienated Northeast Ohioans by expressing indifference toward whether LeBron James stays with the Cavaliers, Kasich has been missing in action from Ohio.
"After his nearly eight years on Wall Street at Lehman Brothers, it's not surprising that Congressman Kasich would feel more comfortable in New York than in Ohio," Ohio Democratic Party Communications Director Seth Bringman said. "Unfortunately for him, Ohioans are looking for a Governor who will represent their values, not Wall Street's."
The video outlines Congressman Kasich's recent media appearances to audiences in Washington, Texas, Georgia, and most prominently, his tour of New York.
