Outsourced to Florida

Jul 28, 2010

Congressman Kasich's running mate Mary Taylor should come clean after her shocking admission that she counseled Ohio businesses to move to other states to avoid paying taxes. Speaking at a business roundtable discussion with Congressman Kasich and Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels, Taylor said, "As a CPA, obviously I spent 16 years working with businesses, entrepreneurs that were successful, created a great deal of wealth for themselves and their families. And you know, we counseled those individuals to consider, you know, moving to Florida or other states..." Mary Taylor owes Ohio some answers. Which Ohio businesses did she counsel to move to Florida? How many jobs did those companies outsource from Ohio? What was she paid for her work moving businesses to Florida?
