The Marion County Democratic Party is one of the finest organizations. The turn Ohio Blue started for Marion in 2005 wth the elections on City Council, then in 2006 we picked up additional offices and in 2007 we had a clean sweep election in which every office a Democrat ran for they won.

The recent visit from President Clinton to Marion was a huge success. Thanks to everyone who volunteered.

Events listing:
Mayor Schertzer will be having a St. Patricks Day fundraiser on March 14, 2008 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Scotch Party House on t. 4 South.

Dan Russell Candidate for County Commissioner will hold a meet and greet on March 29, 2008 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Marion County Democratic Part Headquarters, 1585 Harding Highway East.

Monthly Democratic Club meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of the month at the headquarters 7:30 p.m.

The Democratic Party reoganizational meeting will be set at a later date.
